We perform approximately 15 audits and draft financials for our clients. There was a new staff position that required more disclosures and it was different from client to client due to the different types of investments. Thanks to this book we were able to issue our financials timely with the 5500.

Acctg. Trends & Techniques: Employee Benefit Plans
November 10, 2008
Written by:
Heather T.(Fort Lauderdale, FL)(read all my reviews)
As the main preparer of my organization's financial statements for 3 different employee benefit plans, I found this publication to be extremely helpful and informative. Not only did it describe in detail what disclosures are required for various benefit plans and suggested language for these disclosures, but it also gave helpful illustrative examples for Form 5500 schedules. We had a unique event happen in one of our plans this year and this guide made the disclosure and presentation of that event much easier!
