Non-CPAs usually populate audit committees at non-profits that need the most guidance. After thirty years of board work, ten years as treasurer and fifteen years as president of various boards, I am just beginning to realize what I don't know. Although a CLU working with CPAs and JDs routinely, there is much in this publication that opens my eyes. This way, I can ask better questions and appreciate the nuance of management letters - and replies - better.
