I found the Audits of 401k Plans self-study to be beneficial. The content was appropriate for even a seasoned 401k auditor, but not so complex that entry-level 401k auditors would not be able to gain substantial benefit. I used the course as a refresher of sorts, but have since recommended the course to several colleagues new to benefit plan auditing.

Audits of 401(K) Plans CPE Product Review

I thought this was an effective CPE product overall. Though the reading could be somewhat dry at times, it helped having review questions after every chapter.
I also think the book will be useful in future 401(K) audits that I'm working on.
