This course did a good job of covering the differences between FASB and IASB. Its a good introductory course for this subject.

I took this course to get a good introduction to IFRS. I had previously taken some one to two hour courses on IFRS just to get some CPE, but I really wanted a more in depth understanding of just what all is going to change. This course provided me what I was looking for. I was a bit intimidated when the manual showed up on my doorstep. It was HUGE! However, a lot of the stuff in the book are examples of financial statements, questions, etc, that are not necessary to complete the course. The only complaint I have about this course is that I wish they gave more detailed examples. There were a few instances where they talk about a change in accounting method in a very high level way, and I would find myself thinking that it would be nice to see an example of how that would apply in the real world. Overall, I was very pleased with this product.
