My company is a recent spin off of a larger organization. We felt the need to establish an Audit committee as a subset of our board of directors. This book was instrumental in our knowing the roles and responsibilities of and Audit committee. The charter matrix tool made sure we had all right components and the sample documents helped us create proper policies and procedures. The checklists allowed us to evaluate several audit firms using the same criteria so we could make our decision apples to apples. I ended up purchasing a copy of this toolkit for all of the initial Audit Committee members. It definitely helped them gain confidece with their new responsibilities.

I was asked to purchase this publication and distribute it to our Audit Committee to help clarify the Committee's role. All who received the toolkit commented that it was immensely helpful in clarifying the role of the Audit committee vs. the other Board Committees. I have been asked to purchase a copy each time the membership changes so that new members can benefit from this toolkit. I would recommend it.
