The author, Ron Rael, CPA uses his personal experiences to lead you through the process of planning and executing a successful negotiation. The material is clearly written and includes a wealth of examples and anecdotal information. The questions and practice materials are best used with a partner, since a large part of the skills being taught depend on dealing with the responses of the counter-party in the negotiation interaction. There are also many instances where self-evaluation materials are included to help the reader understand their own strenghts, weaknesses and biases - also critical in evaluating the appropriate next step in the negotiation process. I recommend this course to anyone who has not gone through other Negotation training (like Karrass) but wants to improve in this area.

This was a great tool for me. I am not overly comfortable with negotiating and this has helped me overcome some of the hurdles.
