This three volume set has great guidance and examples on monitoring internal controls. The diagrams in the books are very helpful to visualize how the internal control conponents fit together.

As a Risk Manager within an Operational Business Line, this tool has proven to be invaluable as both a great guidance resource and training resource for sites with less familiarity around internal controls. There are great examples and information well researched and presented in a format that is easily understood. The publication is extremely topical in the current economic/financial crisis environment and provides practical guidance to effective monitoring of an established internal control framework. I would highly recommend this produce.
